Call for Chapter Contributions
In 2027, SRRNet will mark 25 years of conferences, collaboration, and community. Since its inception, the Network has grown internationally while remaining freely accessible and committed to creating spaces for connection, learning, and impact.
To celebrate this milestone, we are preparing a commemorative edited volume featuring chapters written by members of the SRRNet community. Contributions will focus on personal and professional experiences of SRRNet and its conferences, offering reflective, critical, and celebratory perspectives on the Network’s and individual contributors development over time.
Key dates:
- Abstract submission deadline: mid-May
- Full chapter submission deadline: 30 September
The volume is intended to coincide with the 25th anniversary conference and celebrations. As academic publishing requires long lead times, preparations are beginning well in advance.
We warmly encourage Network members to contribute to this collective reflection on SRRNet’s journey—past, present, and future.

Congratulations Prof. David Crowther and SRRNet!
Congratulations to SRRNet and Prof David Crowther on reaching an incredible 25-year milestone. A quarter-century of advancing research, dialogue, and practice in social and sustainability reporting is no small achievement; it reflects a sustained commitment to shaping more transparent, accountable, and responsible organisations globally. I am delighted to have recently joined this esteemed network. At a time when ESG disclosure, data integrity, and capital allocation are increasingly intertwined, platforms like SRRNet play a critical role in bridging academia, policy, and practice.
I look forward to contributing to the continued evolution of sustainability reporting particularly from an emerging markets and African perspective, where the intersection of data, risk, and development is both complex and full of opportunity.
Here’s to the next 25 years of impact and innovation.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Anushka! We’re glad to have you as part of our community
Congratulations to the network and all the spaces you have helped to build for strong collaboration and research! I attended one of the annual conferences in 2010 in Zagreb and plan to attend this year in Romania; cannot wait to renew acquaintances and build new ones. The support of this network helped create some exciting research and educational tools and my colleague and I plan to submit to this book to highlight its impact for us and our work. Thank you for the opportunity!
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We are so excited to have you back with us in Romania after all these years. Your research impact is exactly why this network exists, and we can’t wait to read your submission for the upcoming book. See you soon
